This is the final set prior to show time in regular lighting. Since this set was a collaboration of work for teaching scenic design to High School scenic tech students, I kept the overall design simple and crisp. The wall paper is actually stenciling based on 40’s Contemporary wall paper. The wainscoting and background colors were laid out by the students of Scotlandville High School. They also blackwashed the staging and footings. The period furniture is courtesy of Kerri D’Amico, Anne Woods, Jan Koellen & Pat Ernst.
Justin Moore selected the slipcovers based on fabrics and patterns of the period and for optimal color balance with theatrical lighting.
